General

  • How long is the RYOBI warranty?

    RYOBI offers a 2 year warranty period.

    The warranty period starts from your purchase date, and if you register your tool online
    at a later date, please note that this does not extend the coverage period.

  • What does the RYOBI warranty cover?

    The RYOBI warranty covers the product against manufacturing defects
    in material and/or workmanship that may result in the loss of operation.

  • What does the RYOBI warranty not cover?

    The RYOBI 2 year warranty does not cover the following.

    If the products are faulty due to:

    • general wear & tear
    • abuse, improper maintenance, exposure to extreme temperatures
    • unauthorised modifications, inappropriate use of accessories, operated with incorrect electrical supply
    • vermin or foreign matter enter the product (e.g. plaster, dirt, moisture or other unspecified materials)
    • incorrect fuel mixture in two stroke petrol products
    • unauthorised tampering (i.e. housing, serial no.)
    • servicing by an unauthorised service centre

    If the products are:
    • purchased outside of Australia and New Zealand
    • any consumables relating to the product

  • How do I make a claim on my warranty?

    You must present the complete product (including all accessories) and the receipt to your nearest Bunnings. They will be able to advise you in regard to availability of a refund, exchange, repair agents or replacement of like product.

  • What happens if my warranty has expired?

    You may need to present the product (including all accessories) to your nearest authorised service centre for repairs at your own expense. To find your nearest service centre visit our service & support area.

  • Why do I need to keep my receipt?

    To make a warranty claim you will be required to provide proof of purchase.
    Please ensure you retain your Bunnings receipt.

  • Are my accessories covered under the RYOBI 2 year warranty?

    Battery packs and chargers are covered under the RYOBI 2 year warranty,
    except for all other accessories which are covered under a 3 month limited warranty.

    They may include:

    • power tool accessories
    • power garden equipment accessories
    • pressure washer accessories
    They do not include consumables such as:
    • sanding paper
    • bags
    • cutting line
    • bump knobs
    • chains
    • blades etc.
    The RYOBI warranty covers the product against manufacturing defects

    The RYOBI accessories 3 month limited warranty does not cover the following.
