1. Entry is open to all subscribers of the RYOBI: Talking Sheds email newsletter aged 15 years and over. They must be residents of New Zealand, and be able to provide proof of residency (if required). Employees of the promoter, and their immediate families and agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter.

2. Entry to this competition is FREE to enter.

3. Entries can be posted electronically after logging into the website (via a link contained within the RYOBI Talking Sheds newsletter), and agreeing to these terms and conditions.

4. Only images taken of a residential shed that you possess ownership can be entered.

5. Photographs submitted must depict a residential shed that the entrant must possess ownership and have been taken with their own camera. The entry and any other work subsequently submitted is an original artistic work of the entrant which does not infringe the rights of any third party. The entrant agrees to indemnify the promoter against all costs and claims by third parties arising from a breach of these warranties pursuant to the Copyright Act.

6. We recommend an exterior and interior photo, at minimum. Submissions can only be digital, but scanned slides or photographs are permitted. Please submit images as best possible quality JPG or TIFF files. Indecipherable or incomplete entries will be deemed invalid.

7. Submissions must include photographer's full name, email address, daytime contact number and a minimum of one photo and a maximum of 3.

8. Only one entry per photographer per month is allowed.

9. You are allowed to re-enter the same entry each month, if unsuccessful the previous month.

10. All entries must be received by the last day of each month. Any entries received after this will be accepted into next month's entries.

11. RYOBI retains the right to publish any submitted photo in the RYOBI Talking Sheds email newsletter and the RYOBI website, in those cases there will be no payment for the use of the copyright. We will not sell or give away the rights to use your photographs to any third party without seeking prior consent.

12. Monthly entries will be judged by the RYOBI team prior to the next month's edition of RYOBI Talking Sheds email newsletter. Their decision in relation to any aspect of this competition is final and binding on every person that enters. No correspondence will be entered into. All decisions of the judges are final. Prize winners will be announced on the website as well as in our monthly RYOBI Talking Sheds newsletter.

13. Two winners will be selected from monthly entrants by the RYOBI team. This is a game of skill; chance plays no part in determining the winners. Each entry will be individually judged based on creative merit and judged on the following baseline criteria: (a) Best Shed: Tidiness, organisation, layout, visual appeal (interior & exterior). (b) Worst Shed: Untidiness, unorganisation, lack of visual appeal (interior & exterior).

14. Monthly winners will be published in RYOBI Talking Sheds newsletter and the RYOBI website.

15. Prizes awarded to each winner will be the previous month's "Tool of the Month". Winners will be notified by email or phone using the contact details provided how to collect their prize.

16. Prize values are the recommended retail value (AU$) as provided by the supplier and are correct at time of email production. The promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in the value of the prize. The prize, or any unused portion of the prize, is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash. It is a condition of accepting the prize that the winner if requested by the Promoter, sign a legal declaration stating that their work is their own, and to indemnify the promoter against all costs and claims by third parties arising from a breach of these warranties pursuant to the Copyright Act.

17. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the promoter, including its officers, employees, and agents, excludes all liability (including negligence), for any loss or damage or personal injury, arising in any way out of the promotion, including, without limitation: (a) any technical difficulties; (b) entries or prize claims that are late, lost, damaged or misdirected prior to their receipt by the promoter, or after receipt due to reasons beyond the reasonable control of the promoter; (c) any variation in prize value to that stated in these conditions of entry; and (d) any tax liability incurred by a winner or entrant; or (e) use of prize.

18. The promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law to: (a) disqualify any entrant; and/or (b) subject to any written directions given by a regulatory authority, to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the promotion as appropriate.

19. If for any reason this competition is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this competition, the Promoter assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to, or alteration of entries.

20. All entries become the property of the promoter. The collection, use and disclosure of personal information provided in connection with this competition is governed by the privacy notice (see website privacy statement).
