36V HP™ Brushless 16” (406mm) Chainsaw 4Ah Kit

The RYOBI 36V HP™ 16” Chainsaw is great for creating large piles of firewood and clearing fallen branches. It delivers sustained, efficient power to get through multiple Australian hardwood logs* in one session. Experience the cutting performance of a petrol model with the convenience of battery power, all without the hassle of pull cords, complex startups or exhaust fumes.

This Kit also includes a 36V 4Ah Battery and 36V 2A Charger, ensuring the Chainsaw is ready to use straight out of the box.

Enhanced cutting performance
Engineered with a high-performance HP Brushless motor, this model is optimised for torque and efficiency, delivering consistent cutting power with controlled energy use. Ideal for users who don’t require the extended reach and capacity of a 20” bar.

More compact, agile design
The 16" bar length provides greater manoeuvrability than larger models. It’s easier to handle during extended use. The lighter, more agile design is well-suited to trimming and medium-duty cutting tasks, while still capable of handling demanding jobs.

Suitable for Australian hardwoods
Put the Chainsaw’s efficient cutting performance to the test when gathering firewood**. It cuts through trees and branches up to 400mm in diameter, including dense Australian hardwood species such as Ironbark and Sugar Gum.

Precision and control
Dual studs and a captive bar nut help maintain bar tension for reliable performance.

Integrated bucking spikes provide improved grip and control, especially during deeper cuts.

A built-in felling line supports more accurate tree-felling, while the wrap-around front handle enables steady handling from multiple cutting positions.

A mechanical brake adds an extra layer of kickback protection for safer operation.

Easy maintenance
An automatic oiling system keeps the bar and chain lubricated, reducing friction and wear - keeping the chainsaw in peak operating condition.

36V power

The Battery provides sufficient runtime to perform 60 cuts into 200mm Australian Hardwood***. It’s compatible with many other tools from the RYOBI 36V range, including lawn mowers, blowers and line trimmers. Use the Charger to replenish any battery from the RYOBI 36V range.
