Who can enter?

Only New Zealand residents who meet the following criteria:

  1. (a) the Promoter; and
  2. (b) the agencies, companies or participating premises associated with this Promotion.
Where will the promotion run?The promotion will run via the RYOBI Stand (Sites F75, F77, F79) at Fieldays 2026 located at 125 Mystery Creek Rd, Ohaupo 3881, New Zealand.
Qualifying PurchaseSpend NZD $200 or more on RYOBI products in one transaction at the RYOBI Stand (located at sites F75, F77, F79) at the Fieldays 2026 event.
Entry instructions

To enter, you must, during the Promotion Period:

  1. (a) make a Qualifying Purchase from the RYOBI Stand (located at sites F75, F77, F79) at Fieldays 2026 and collect your itemised purchase receipt;
  2. (b) locate the RYOBI event staff at the RYOBI Stand, show them your Qualifying Purchase receipt and complete the entry form on the device provided by staff, including by providing your first and last name, email address, phone number, postcode and all other requested information, to receive an entry into the draw.

Your purchase receipt must clearly identify where the Qualifying Purchase was made, the product/s purchased (which must be/include a Qualifying Purchase) and the date of purchase (which must be during the Promotion Period before you submitted your entry).

How many winners will there be and how will they be chosen?

There will be 2 winners determined in respect of this promotion.

There will be 1 draw conducted.

The draw will be held at 10am NZST on 24/06/2026 at Unit c/70 Business Parade South, East Tamaki, Auckland 2013.

The Promoter may draw additional reserve entries in a draw and record them in order, in case a winning entry/entrant is deemed invalid or a prize is unclaimed (Reserve Entrants).

What can I win?There are 2 prizes available. Each prize is a RYOBI 18V ONE+ 23L Fridge Freezer Kit (R18FRF142) valued at NZD $699.
Total prize poolThe total prize pool is NZD$1,398.
How many times can I enter?You can only enter this promotion once.
How and when will the winner/s be informed?The Winners will be notified by phone and in writing by email within 7 days of determination.
Proof of purchase

You must keep your original itemised Qualifying Purchase receipt as proof of purchase for all entries.

If you don't produce the above proof of purchase for all entries when asked the Promoter may disqualify all of your entries and you will lose any right to a prize.

Proof of purchase must be identical to that provided by you with your entry.

If, in the Promoter's opinion based on the available information, you have shared any proof of purchase with another person, your entries will be invalid and you will lose any right to a prize.

Unclaimed prize/s

Prize claim date: 5pm NZST on 03/07/2026.

Unclaimed prize determination: 10am NZST on 06/07/2026 at the same address as the original draw.

If a prize has not been accepted or claimed by the prize claim date above or if, after making all reasonable attempts, the Promoter can't contact a winner (or a winner does not contact the Promoter) by the prize claim date above, the relevant entry/ies will be discarded and the Promoter will either re-award the relevant prize/s to Reserve Entrant/s and/or carry out an unclaimed prize draw at the date, time and place stated above to randomly distribute the prize/s amongst valid entrants who (if possible) have not already won an unclaimed prize.

Any such winner/s will be informed by phone and in writing by email within 7 days of determination.

Collection and use of your personal information

If you are a winner, you must take part in all publicity, photography and other promotional activity as the Promoter requires, without any compensation.  You consent to the Promoter using your name and image in any promotional or advertising activity. The Promoter may collect your personal information directly or through the Promoter's agents or contractors. The Promoter will use your personal information to conduct and manage the promotion. The Promoter may disclose your personal information to the Promoter's related companies, agents and contractors to assist in conducting this promotion, communicating with you or storing data for the purpose of this promotion.

Where you have opted-in to receive marketing from the Promoter, you consent to the Promoter keeping your personal information on its database to use for future marketing purposes, including contacting you by electronic messaging provided that where required by the Unsolicited Electronic Messages Act 2007, the Promoter includes a functional unsubscribe facility in each direct marketing communication it sends you so that you may use to opt-out of any further such communications and the functional unsubscribe facility complies with the Unsolicited Electronic Messages Act 2007.

By entering, you consent to receive email or SMS messages from the Promoter without any functional unsubscribe facility if they relate primarily to the conduct of this promotion.

Additional uses: In addition to the uses outlined in the Privacy Policy, the Promoter may share your personal information with the Promoter’s franchised dealers, related companies, agents, contractors or promotional partners for the purposes of enabling your participation in this promotion.

Overseas disclosures: For New Zealand entrants, this may include disclosures to organisations outside New Zealand including in places such as Australia, The United States of America and the Philippines, where your personal information may not be protected in a way that, overall, provides comparable safeguards to New Zealand privacy laws.

Entry
  1. 2 Your entry must be received during the Promotion Period and will be deemed to be received only when received by the Promoter.  If you return a Qualifying Purchase your entry may be deemed invalid at the Promoter's discretion (unless the product is defective). You will receive a return message on-screen confirming your entry.  The Promoter is not liable for any problems with communications networks outside its reasonable control.  You are responsible for your own costs associated with entering.  If you enter using automatically generated entries or multiple phone numbers/email addresses/addresses/aliases, you may be disqualified. 

 

Prizes
  1. 3 Prizes and all elements of prizes must be taken as specified, as and when offered and cannot be altered or changed in any way by you or will be forfeited, and if forfeited, the Promoter will not be liable.  If you forfeit the prize or any element of the prize for whatever reason, you will not be given cash or any alternative prize as a substitute. Prize/s are subject to any additional terms and conditions imposed by the relevant supplier or the Promoter, including validity period/s.
  2. 4 You are responsible for all other unspecified costs related to the prize, including insurance (including excesses), installation costs, or any other costs associated with ongoing use of the prize, etc.
  3. 5 The Promoter is not responsible for any dispute between you and any person with whom you choose to, or choose not to, share a prize.

 

General
  1. 6 Any material failure by you to comply with the conditions imposed by the prize supplier(s) may result in the prize being cancelled or withdrawn without liability for the Promoter or the prize supplier(s).
  2. 7 You must, if required by the Promoter, sign disclaimer and release forms provided by the Promoter in favour of the Promoter and other parties before taking the prize.  If you do not sign, your entry will be deemed invalid and you will lose any entitlement to a prize.
  3. 8 If you or your entry are deemed by the Promoter to breach these Terms and Conditions materially your entry (or at the Promoter's discretion, all of your entries) may be discarded.  The Promoter may, at any time, require you to produce documentation to establish to the Promoter's reasonable satisfaction the validity of your entries and/or verifying your identity (including documentation establishing your identity, age, place of residence and place of employment).  Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not waive those rights.
  4. 9 You must not:

    1. (a) tamper with the entry process (including but not limited to manipulating the system via bots, script use, or any other means to circumvent the entry process);
    2. (b) engage in any conduct that may jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of the promotion;
    3. (c) act in a disruptive, annoying, threatening, abusive or harassing manner;
    4. (d) do anything that may diminish the good name or reputation of the Promoter or any of its related entities or of the agencies or companies associated with this promotion;
    5. (e) breach any law; or
    6. (f) behave in a way that is otherwise inappropriate.
  6. 10 If you in the reasonable opinion of the Promoter (and/or a medical professional, as relevant to the circumstances), behave aggressively or offensively, or behave in a manner which may diminish the good name or reputation of the Promoter or any of its related entities or the agencies or companies associated with this promotion, is contrary to law or is otherwise inappropriate, the Promoter may cancel the prize or restrict you from participating in any elements of the prize, at its discretion.
  7. 11 The Promoter is not liable for entries, prize claims or correspondence that are misplaced, misdirected, delayed, lost, incomplete, illegible or incorrectly submitted for reasons outside the Promoter's reasonable control, including failure of any third parties to forward entry forms for inclusion in the draw, where relevant.
  8. 12 If any dispute arises between you and the Promoter concerning the conduct of this promotion or claiming a prize, the Promoter will take reasonable steps to consider your point of view, taking into account any facts or evidence you put forward, and to respond to it fairly within a reasonable time.  In all other respects, the Promoter’s decision in connection with all aspects of this promotion is final.
  9. 13 Prizes cannot be transferred or exchanged nor redeemed for cash.  Without limiting any other term of these Terms and Conditions, all prizes (and elements of prizes) must be taken as and when specified, or will be forfeited with no replacement.  The prize values are correct as at the date of preparing these Terms and Conditions and include any applicable GST.  The Promoter is not responsible for any change in prize value.  You agree that if a prize (or element of a prize) is unavailable for any reason the Promoter may provide another item of equal or higher value, subject to any necessary approval by the relevant gaming authorities.
  10. 14 If publication will take place, by entering, you request that your full address not be published.
  11. 15 If this promotion cannot run as planned for any reason beyond the Promoter's control (for example due to software, hardware or communications issues, unauthorised intervention, tampering, fraud or technical failure, government directives, a pandemic, public health orders and the like), the Promoter may end, change, suspend or cancel the promotion or disqualify affected entries/entrants, subject to any necessary approval by the relevant gaming authorities.
  12. 16 The Promoter is not responsible for any tax implications arising from you winning a prize.  You should seek independent financial advice.  If for GST purposes this promotion results in any supply being made for non-monetary consideration, and you are an Australian entrant, you must follow the Australian Taxation Office’s stated view that where the parties are at arm’s length, goods and services exchanged are of equal GST inclusive market values.

 

Liability

    You may have consumer rights under statute including under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (NZ) and Fair Trading Act 1986 (NZ) (Non-Excludable Guarantees) which may be relevant to any issue or problem you encounter in relation to this promotion and cannot be excluded or restricted.  Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes or restricts those rights.  See https://www.comcom.govt.nz/ for more information about those rights,
  2. 18 Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law (in which case that liability is limited to the greatest extent allowed by law), including liability under the Non-Excludable Guarantees, the Promoter and the agencies and companies associated with this promotion are not liable (including in negligence) for any loss (including loss of opportunity), expense, damage, personal injury (including allergies, skin conditions or other reactions, as relevant), illness or death suffered in connection with this promotion or any gift, whether such loss is direct, indirect, special or consequential, including (without limitation):

    1. (i) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoters’ control);
    2. (ii) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference;
    3. (iii) any gift claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged, or misdirected due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter;
    4. (iv) any variation of the prize value to that stated in these Terms and Conditions;
    5. (v) any tax liability incurred by an entrant; and 
    6. (vi) use of, or participation in, the prize by any person.
  4. 19 Without limiting the previous paragraphs, the Promoter and the agencies and companies associated with this promotion are not liable for any loss of, damage to or delay in delivery of prize/s, or for any damage that occurs to displayed prize/s (where relevant), due to circumstances beyond the Promoter's reasonable control.  Unless otherwise specified, prize/s will only be delivered to addresses in New Zealand.
  5. 20 This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with any social media platform, including Facebook, Instagram and X.  You provide your information to the Promoter and not to any social media platform.  You completely release any relevant social media platforms from any and all liability.
